She joined WACKER in 2014 as Application Chemist and, since 2021, has also been leading the Regional R&D cell. Angelita currently holds the position of Technical Manager for Consumer & Industrial Business of Polymers South America.

Emanuel Martins is a Mechanical Engineer, with a postgraduate degree in Industrial Automation. Career developed in the Plastic and Rubber Industry with 20+ years of professional experience in the area of plastic injection working in strategic roles, covering business management and development of structured solutions for the industry. Since 2016, he has been part of the ERT team that opened the 1st Biodegradable BioPolymers plant in Latin America, coordinating the product division.
This year he assumed the presidency of Abicom with the aim of disseminating and expanding knowledge about bioplastics.

Dr. Michael Thielen from Germany is the founder and editor of Renewable Carbon Plastics (formerly known as bioplastics MAGAZINE), the first and only trade magazine dealing exclusively with bioplastics. He is a mechanical engineer with a degree in plastics engineering from RWTH Aachen University, Germany. He is the author of several books on blow molding technology and bioplastics and has shared his knowledge about plastics in numerous lectures, seminars, conferences and teaching assignments in Germany and abroad.

Nereo Rodriguez graduated with a master degree in chemical engineering from the Complutense University from Madrid in Spain. After several internships around Europe, he carried out a Master in Business Administration (MBA). Since 2012 he has worked for different technology providers as Sales and Application Engineer for the O&G and chemical industry. In 2021 he joined the polymer business team at Sulzer Chemtech Ltd in Switzerland in the role of Senior Sales Manager for foam extrusion lines. In 2023, he moved within the polymer business unit to a new role as Sales Manager Polymer Tech. / Licenses at Polymer & Crystallization, where he is now responsible for the sales and licensing activities related to the biopolymer technologies with the focus, among others, on Polylactic Acid (PLA) from sugar sources (1st and 2nd Generation) and/or other renewable feedstocks.
